Discovering Your Spiritual Gifts and Personal Ministry -
Welcome to Discovering Your Spiritual Gifts and Personal Ministry.  Every Christian has a dominant gift and many possess more than one.  Founded on May 1, 2009 Mrs. Kellie Hawkins-Hyde decided to share her spiritual gifts by teaching and equipping others with the tools needed to discover what their God-Given Gifts, Calling and Personal Ministry should be.  Discovering and exercising your God-given spiritual gifts will allow you to experience maximum fulfillment and minimum frustration in your Christian life and ministry. Every Christian receives at least one gift at the moment of salvation.  Spiritual gifts are not rewards, natural talents, a place of service, or an age-group ministry.  A spiritual gift is the primary channel by which the Holy Spirit ministers through believers.  It is a supernatural capacity for service to God.  God gives you a supernatural desire to perform the duties of that gift.  Spiritual gifts are tools for building the church.  They are a source of joy in your Christian life and influence your motives.  A spiritual gift is a divine calling with a divine responsibility, because what God has gifted you to do, He has called you to do, and what He has called you to do, He has gifted and equipped you to do.

In Paul's letter to the Corinthian Church, he describes the spiritual gifts. (I Corinthians 12:7-11)
There are three categories of gifts:  The Miraculous Gifts, generally known today as Charismatic Gifts; the
Enabling Gifts which all Christians have the ability to develop (faith, discernment, wisdom, knowledge); and Team Gifts which are activity, service, or task-oriented.
The Team Gifts are functional and involve speaking or ministering.  In many cases, spiritual gifts compliment your secular employment.

You will discover in my workshops what your dominant TEAM GIFTS are in order to help you find your place on the "team" in your church.  Prayer and serving God will also help you see where God wants you.  In closing, one of my favorite scriptures are Philippians 3:14.  I strongly believe that you should never allow your past to predict your future.  You must press on in your ministry and exercise your God-given spiritual gifts.  You will truly be rewarded.
